Welche Mindestfalzh\u00f6he ist erforderlich?<\/strong><\/summary><p>Mindestens 25\u202fmm. What torque is recommended for the seam clamps?<\/strong><\/summary>\n  <p>Usually 14\u201316 Nm. How are module rows planned and aligned?<\/strong><\/summary>\n  <p>The rails are laid perpendicular to the fold lines. What should you do if the fold lines are not exactly parallel?<\/strong><\/summary>\n  <p>Slight deviations can be compensated for by the rail mount. What should be considered when using very thin folded sheet metal?<\/strong><\/summary>\n  <p>For aluminium folded roofs < 0.6 mm, we recommend a static test. The clamping must not exert too much pressure at any one point. If you are unsure, please consult us.  <\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n<details id=\"frage-18\">\n  <summary><strong>18. How are the modules attached to the rails?<\/strong><\/summary>\n  <p>With end and centre clamps that engage in the upper rail channel. Are there any special regulations for lightning protection or surge protection?<\/strong><\/summary>\n  <p>Yes. PV systems on metal standing seam roofs are considered external lightning conductors \u2013 integration into the lightning protection concept is required. What needs to be considered with series connectors or rail joints?<\/strong><\/summary>\n  <p>In general, rail joints should not lie directly on seam clamps. Do the rails have to be electrically conductive?<\/strong><\/summary>\n  <p>It is advisable to earth the system. Please consult your electrician for further information. The clamp must fit snugly on the rebate; the screw must not be overtightened. How can I align the position of the modules?<\/strong><\/summary>\n  <p>The module position can be adjusted before tightening the module clamps. Can the system be used in snowy or windy conditions?<\/strong><\/summary>\n  <p>Yes, provided that the static requirements are met. What happens if a module slips or comes loose?<\/strong><\/summary>\n  <p>This is impossible if the installation is carried out correctly. The clamps secure the module against slipping. How long does it take to install a typical set on a pitched roof?<\/strong><\/summary>\n  <p>Depending on experience, 1\u20132 hours for a small PV system (e.g. 4\u20136 modules). Can optimisers or power devices also be mounted on the roof?<\/strong><\/summary>\n  <p>Yes, special brackets can be used to mount power optimisers on the rails, for example. What should be considered during dismantling?<\/strong><\/summary>\n  <p>Loosen the screws on the clamps, but do not remove them completely. The clamp can then be removed from the side. Can I shorten the mounting rails?<\/strong><\/summary>\n  <p>Yes. Aluminium profiles can be cut using a chop saw or angle grinder with a suitable blade. Are there any special requirements regarding thermal expansion?<\/strong><\/summary>\n  <p>For folded roofs, rail lengths should generally not exceed 3 metres. Can I attach cable ducts or module optimisers to the rails?<\/strong><\/summary>\n  <p>Yes. There are compatible mounts for accessories that can be attached to the groove of the rails \u2013 without additional penetrations. <\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n<details id=\"frage-34\">\n  <summary><strong>34. What should you do if the roof has slopes or uneven areas?<\/strong><\/summary>\n  <p>The system adapts to a limited extent. Height-adjustable adapters or adjustment plates can be used for larger uneven areas. <\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n<details id=\"frage-35\">\n  <summary><strong>35. Can I also use the clamps on copper roofs?<\/strong><\/summary>\n  <p>No. Aluminium clamps are not suitable for copper \u2013 there is a risk of corrosion due to electrochemical reactions. What happens if I accidentally overtighten a clamp?<\/strong><\/summary>\n  <p>The clamp may lose its clamping force or damage the seam. In this case, it should be replaced. Can the mounting systems be combined with lightning protection?<\/strong><\/summary>\n  <p>Yes. The rails can be used as part of the lightning protection system if they are professionally integrated and earthed. Are there coloured rails or black clamps?<\/strong><\/summary>\n  <p>We supply bare aluminium rails (silver) as standard.
