Description
The modules lie crosswise and are clamped on the short side of the frame.
With centre frames, two transverse modules share a support so that the system is simply built in a north-south direction. The modules are each screwed to the frame using two centre clamps and screws in the press-in nuts provided.
End frames form the end of the respective module row. Here, the transverse modules are screwed into the frame with the corresponding end clamps.
The grid dimensions of the base rails of our east-west system are as follows:
- 2.48 m with a 2-seater frame, which has space for two more practised inclined modules
- 4.96 m for a 4-unit frame, which offers space for 4 modules in east-west orientation

Each frame is supplied with the corresponding clamps and screws for fastening the modules to the elevations (4 clamps + 4 screws per 2-module frame and 8 clamps + 8 screws per 4-module frame). Centre clamps are supplied for centre racks and corresponding end clamps are supplied for end racks. The frame system itself does not differ. The decision between centre and end racks only controls the assembly of the correct module clamps for your module assignment.
The feet, which are also used as a support point for the ballast, are also included with the respective frames. We always supply all frames with 70 cm long feet (ballast holders) for better load distribution of the ballast (usually paving slabs) on the roof.
All feet have Regupol protective pads to protect the roof covering. They also have an aluminium lamination on the underside, which enables you to use our flat roof systems on foil roofs. The aluminium barrier layer prevents the migration of plasticisers between the plastics.

Alternatively, we also offer shorter, 40 cm long legs. Please enquire about your individual project (more information here).
Two racks are always required to place a row of modules one behind the other.
(Modules lie crosswise – in a row one behind the other, the module rests on a frame on both the left and right).
The ballast is not part of the system.
In addition to purchasing our East-West flat roof system via the online shop, we are of course also happy to plan your projects individually for you!
We can also draw on other frame variants and ballast holders.
In addition, we can provide you with a project-related structural analysis including a ballast plan for flat roof projects for which we can provide you with a design.
Of course, we also offer south-facing systems in addition to various flat roof frame variants.
