Plate head screws are used to fasten the roof hooks to the rafters. You generally need two plate head screws per roof hook. The length of the plate head screws required depends on the distance from the contact point of the roof hook base plate to the rafter and can vary depending on the height of the counter battens and rafter insulation. Usual lengths are 80-120 mm. The screw-in depth in the rafters should be at least 70 mm.

We recommend screwing our roof hooks with 8 mm plate head screws.
