Description
The adapter plate is the connection between the hanger bolt and the mounting profile. The hanger bolt is screwed into the substructure of the roof with the wooden thread, outside the roof the adapter plate is then clamped in the round hole between two locking nuts, which are already pre-assembled on our hanger bolts.
The position / height of the adapter plate can be freely adjusted in the length of the metric thread of the hanger bolt. The M10 screw of the mounting profile (either hexagon head screw DIN 933 or Profiness hammerhead screw 9664-2-10×25) is locked in the slotted hole of the adapter plate with a 10 mm locking nut.
The adapter plate should always be positioned as close as possible to the roof in order to minimize the leverage effect. The position of the adapter plate on the hanger bolt plays an important role in the structural calculation of a project with hanger bolts and solar fasteners.
