Description
Like the slide-in connector, the U-connector is a “standard” connector for our 40×40 profiles. The U-connector can also be installed later if the profiles are already fixed to the roof, as it is pushed on from the outside. The connector clicks into the grooves in our profiles thanks to its precise fit and cannot slip out on its own. However, four self-tapping screws should be used for long-term fixation.
The U-connector theoretically also fits on our 80×40 profiles, but it should only be used as a connector if the load on the connection point is low.
Otherwise, we recommend our PR24 slide-in connector or the four-hole screw connector for the 80×40 profiles.
